Each Zip merchant partner sets up a Stripe Connect account during the integration process. This Connect account is a B2B payment facilitator that allows Zip to transfer funds directly to a merchant’s bank account via ACH. Through this account, we are able to pay out merchants the next business day following a transaction.
*On December 15, 2023 Stripe made an update to its legal terms. Merchants can review the Stripe Connect Account Agreement (incorporating the Stripe Services Agreement and related terms at stripe.com/legal/connect-account). The updates to the terms will take effect on March 31, 2024. No action is needed from Zip merchant partners, but by continuing to use Stripe's services after that date, you are agreeing to the updated terms.
